4 Slot Linear Diffuser
METALAIRE is the flagship brand of Metal Industries Inc., offering a complete line of air distribution and air terminal products. From standard grilles and registers, to its architectural line of Formations® linear slot diffusers, along with a newly released series of displacement diffusers, METALAIRE has the air devices to meet every need. Slot diffusers can be installed individually in set lengths or in a continuous line. They can also be installed in any type of ceiling application. The modules are available with a 20mm or 25mm Slot with the number of slots ranging from 1 to 8 slots.
4 Slot Linear Diffuser
Sleek and unobtrusive, TRUaire LD linear slot diffusers are the architects dream come true. Long narrow slots take the place of traditional 'fins'. The installation is flush with the wall or ceiling, and the diffuser all but disappears within the natural lines of the structure.
- Capped on both ends
- 1/2', 3/4', or 1' wide 4 row/slot models
- Durable white powder coat finish
- Installation brackets with screws
- Available in 2', 3', 4' & 6' stock lengths
- Overall size is LISTED SIZE + 2-1/2'

| #2 | Q: I am making the boxes the slot diffuser will slip into, how will the diffusers be secured in place? Should we put a flange on the box? A: Slot diffusers boxes have a flange (bent upwards, almost hemmed) on the long sides. The Truaire slots come with the C brackets that slip into the bent flages and lock in. The diffusers are secured by screwing through the slots into the C bracket. The holes are pre-drilled in the diffusers. Asked on 2019-01-17 by Chris |

| #4 | Q: is there a way to connect this to a 4 opening ceiling fan duct? A: You would need a metal plenum that converts the rectangular shape to round. The round outlet is typically on the side of the plenum (box) since the top is narrow. We do not sell them, but you can buy plenums for linear diffuses from local sheet metal shops.
