Shuback in a part-time position to
supplement his congregational work.
He served in this dual capacity for
approximately 15 years.
He received numerous awards and
citations for meritorious work from
both the Northwest Indiana Jewish
Community and the city of East
Chicago.
Rabbi Shuback is survived by his
daughter and son-in-law, Joyce Hertz
and A.J. Petryna of Highland, Ind.;
son and daughter-in-law, Fred and
Mindy Shuback of West Bloomfield;
grandchildren, Adam Rosenbloom,
Rivian Hertz, Marissa Shuback,
Jeremy Shuback, Andrea Shuback.
He was the beloved husband of the
late Jewel Soloski Shuback.
Interment at South Superior
Hebrew Cemetery in Superior, Wis.

85, of Oak Park, died March 8,
2005. She was the office manager
and co-owner of State Insurance.
Mrs. Solomon is survived by her

Friedman Weiner and Andy Weiner,
Morrey and Carol Graves; great-
nephews and great-nieces, David,
Daniel and Michael Weiner; broth-
er-in-law and sister-in-law, Alfred
Solomon and Ragene Peckitt. She
was the beloved wife of the late
Jerome Solomon; devoted sister of
the late Abner Robert Friedman.

He received his master's degree in
business administration from
University of Michigan. A CPA, he
retired in 2003. He was a member of
